Check valves should be installed on the following pipe sections of the water supply pipeline: on the inlet pipe; on the inlet pipe of a closed water heater or water equipment; on the water pump outlet pipe; the outlet pipe section of the water tank, water tower, and highland pool where the inlet and outlet pipes are combined into one pipeline superior. Note: The pipe section equipped with the pipe backflow preventer does not need to be equipped with a check valve. The following parts of the water supply pipeline should be equipped with exhaust devices: the water supply pipeline network that is used intermittently should be equipped with automatic exhaust valves at the end and the highest point of the pipeline network; the pipeline section of the water supply pipeline network with obvious undulations and accumulation of air has been at the peak of this section. An automatic exhaust valve or a manual valve should be installed at the point to exhaust; the air pressure water supply device should be equipped with an automatic exhaust valve at the highest point of the water distribution pipe network when an automatic air supply air pressure water tank is used.
