●Because the hot-melt connection pipe melts itself through the pipe material, then the connecting piece is also melted, and finally the two are combined together. It is the repair produced by the solidification of the pipe itself. I personally think this repair method is the most reliable and has the longest service life. It will not cause water seepage or water leakage in the joint due to the outside.
●The mechanical connection method used in the quick coupling is fastened by threaded fastening. I personally think that this fastening method will gradually weaken with the increase of time. In other words, the bolt will slowly thread, which will cause the connection between the gasket inside the joint and the pipe to gradually loosen, and the final consequence is that the pipe has water leakage.
If necessary, raw tape can not only prevent leakage, but also protect silk patterns. Avoid over-tightening and damaging the thread.
The correct winding method of raw tape:
1. First, remove the foreign matter from the connecting part of the raw material belt;
2. Pay attention to the winding direction. Take the angle valve as an example. When the angle valve is screwed into the inner thread of the wall, it rotates clockwise to the right. Then we wind the leftover on the angle valve.
The direction of the strip is to wind to the left and counterclockwise, so that when the angle valve is twisted, it will be tightened and not loosened.
