What is PERT AL PERT?
PERT AL PERT pipes are innovative composite solutions designed for water systems, featuring a five-layer structure: PERT (inner) – adhesive – aluminum – adhesive – PERT (outer). This design combines PERT's flexibility with aluminum's oxygen barrier and strength, ideal for radiant heating, cooling, and potable water systems.

Core Advantages
The aluminum layer acts as a barrier, preventing oxygen ingress that causes corrosion in metal components of closed systems. PERT layers resist scale buildup and chemicals, ensuring consistent flow. With high flexibility for easy installation (minimal fittings needed) and shape retention under 95°C/10 bar, they outperform rigid alternatives.
Applications & Longevity
Ideal for residential/commercial hot/cold water lines, radiant heating, and solar systems. Certified for potable water (NSF/ANSI standards), they offer a 50+ year lifespan with low maintenance. Their cost-effectiveness and durability make them a top choice over copper or pure plastic pipes in modern plumbing projects.
PERT-AL-PERT and PEX-AL-PEX
PERT-al-PERT and PEX-al-PEX are both multilayer pipes commonly used in underfloor heating systems, but they differ in their core material. PERT-al-PERT uses PE-RT (Polyethylene of Raised Temperature Resistance), while PEX-al-PERT uses PEX (cross-linked polyethylene). Both offer advantages like flexibility, oxygen barriers, and ease of installation.
In general, PERT pipe may be a better choice for high-temperature applications, while PEX pipe may be a better choice for low-cost and easy installation.
