The connection methods of water and floor heating PEX pipes include ferrule connection, compression connection, slip-on connection and some brass plumbing connections. This PEX Elbow Fitting is mainly used for press-fit connections and is a press-fit pipe fitting. When installing the press fitting, first put the stainless steel sleeve or copper snap ring on the pipe, and then insert the core of the pipe fitting into the pipe. Press the stainless steel sleeve or copper snap ring with a pliers pressing tool, so that the stainless steel or copper snap ring undergoes plastic permanent deformation, and the pipe and the pipe fitting core are crimped together. The crimping pipe fittings are tightly connected and not easy to leak water. Using tools for crimping, the connection is relatively reliable, and it is not easy to disassemble and maintain.

The nut ferrule type pipe fitting is mainly connected by the rotation of the nut, and an open clasp copper is pressed, and the clasp copper is continuously closed with the tightening of the nut, compressing the pipe and the core of the pipe fitting to realize the connection. Its main feature is that it is easy to install and disassemble, and easy to maintain. No special tools are required for installation. The disadvantage is that if the nut is not tightened, there will be leakage.

Reaming push-type pipe fittings are also what we call sliding-tight fittings. When installing, first put the pipe fittings into one end of the pipe, use the reaming tool to ream the pipe, insert the core of the pipe fitting into the pipe, and then use the pushing tool. Push the fitting compression sleeve to the bottom of the core. Push-type pipe fittings are very reliable in sealing. Due to the expansion of the pipe, the diameter of the pipe is small and the pressure loss is small. However, the installation requires two special installation tools, and the cost of the pipe fittings is relatively high.

The PE-X pipe for floor heating is generally connected to the distributor and the water collector by using a nut ferrule type pipe fitting. The nut ferrule type pipe fittings are easy to install and disassemble, and easy to maintain. No matter which connection method is used, ensure that the pipe is tightened so that there is no possibility of leakage.
