Precautions after installation of Brass PEX Manifold:
Leakage
Practice has proved that more than 50% of heating accidents occur on the collector and distributor, because water seepage often occurs at the connection between the plastic and the collector and distributor. Therefore, it must be noted that when the wall-hung boiler pressure is not enough, the first time to observe whether there is leakage at the connection of the water collector and distributor.
Exhaust
The method of running and exhausting the water trap: prepare a section of plastic hose (the diameter should be just enough to fit on the exhaust valve port) and a container (basin, bucket, etc.) for receiving water before deflation; close except for the inlet water For all valves other than valves, generally the handle of the valve is parallel to the pipe direction to open, and vertical to close; put one end of the plastic hose on the air release valve port, and place a water container under the other end; slowly unscrew the water manifold inlet pipe The air release valve on the upper side of the valve, perform the first air release until the water without a lot of bubbles is released, then close the air release valve; open a set of water inlet and return valves on the branch of the water separator, and then open the water separator again The air release valve on the water inlet pipe until the water without a lot of bubbles is released; repeat the above operation until all the branches of the water separator are deflated.
Thermal check filter valve
When the filter valve in the collector and manifold is too much integrated, it will cause the water outlet to not be hot. It may be caused by too much sedimentation in the filter valve in the collector and manifold, and needs to be cleaned by professionals.
Do not close all the shut-off valves of the manifold
Many people like to close all the valves when they don't use the floor heating. A special situation will occur: In some areas, the temperature will occasionally reach below zero in winter. When the floor heating pipe is not used, the water in the floor heating pipe is likely to freeze at low temperatures. At this time, our wall-hung boiler will have its own low temperature protection, and the automatic heating will protect the pipeline and the furnace itself. When the valve is completely closed, the floor heating pipe will not be protected. In extreme cases, the pipeline will be dangerous.
