Construction steps of hot melt connection of PE water supply pipe: The foundation of the pipeline should be flat and have sufficient strength, and the excavation of the pipe trench must prevent disturbing the original soil of the base. When the base is in a relatively soft soil layer below the groundwater level, the treatment method of first padding 15cm thick gravel with a particle size less than 50mm thick, and then laying a 5cm thick sand cushion layer can be used to obtain long-term stable support for the pipeline. When manually excavating the pipe groove, the bottom of the groove is required to be flat and dense, and there are no sharp objects. The bottom of the ditch can have undulations, but the pipe must be supported smoothly. If there is over-excavation, it must be backfilled and compacted.

Pipe connection: choose the connection method PE pipe connection mainly includes hot melt connection, mechanical connection, electrofusion connection and so on. The hot melt connection method has the advantages of low cost, good quality of pipe joints, and no need for pipe fittings, and is widely used. Material preparation: Place the pipe or fittings on a flat position and place them on the docking machine, leaving a cutting allowance of 10-20mm. Cutting: Cut the welded pipe sections, the impurities and oxide layers on the end faces of the pipe fittings to ensure that the two butt end faces are smooth, clean and free of impurities. Alignment: The end faces of the two welded pipe sections should be completely centered, the smaller the wrong side, the better, and the wrong side should not exceed 10% of the wall thickness. Otherwise, the docking quality will be affected. Heating: The docking temperature is generally between 210-230 ℃, and the heating time of the heating plate is different in winter and summer, and the melting length of the two ends is preferably 1-2mm. Melt butt joint: It is the key to welding. The butt joint process should always be carried out under melting pressure, and the width of the crimping edge should be 2-4mm. Cooling: Keep the docking pressure unchanged and let the interface cool down slowly. The cooling time is based on the roughness of the curled edges and the feeling of no heat. Docking completed: Release the slips after cooling, remove the docking machine, and prepare for the next interface connection.
