The pressure loss of the system is a factor of the diameter of the pipe and the smoothness of the inner wall. Pipes with large diameters and rough inner walls are more likely to produce pressure loss, so a pump with stronger pumping force and more output energy are required. Small diameter, smooth inner wall CPVC pipe, can better maintain pressure.
