Corrosion resistance: Corrosive substances and bacteria in the ground can attack water supply pipes—especially metals. This shortens the working life and limits the effectiveness of the fire protection system. However, CPVC is designed to resist the wide range of soil pH and salinity found in the ground, ensuring a longer lifespan, preventing excessive maintenance costs, and controlling risks.

PVC Elbow

Low cost: Metal and PVC water supply pipes require the use of thrust blocks, expensive additions used to restrain the pipe and prevent damage from unsupported movement. If a thrust block is not used, the metal water supply pipe will move freely, causing the fittings to separate, leak and damage other connecting pipes. CPVC water supply mains do not require the use of thrust blocks, reducing the overall cost of materials.
