In the newly built buildings in the north, floor heating has become the choice of most people due to the advantages of high comfort. As an important part of the floor heating system, the laying of floor heating pipes is very critical. If there is a problem during the construction process, it will directly affect the effect of floor heating, and even very troublesome problems such as water leakage will occur. Let’s talk about the selection of floor heating pipes. We mainly have two choices now, one is PE-RT, which is called heat-resistant polyethylene, and the other is PEX-B. There are certain differences between the two kinds of pipes. The advantage of PEX-B is that it is heat-resistant and high-temperature resistant. It will not melt under high temperature, it will become transparent, and then it can maintain the original pipe shape, so it is often used for high-temperature floor heating. In addition, PEX-B is also resistant to low temperature and will not freeze and crack in extreme weather. Let's talk about the length of the floor heating pipe. According to the national regulations, each road of the floor heating pipe shall not exceed 120 meters. This length is specified according to the water temperature of the boiler, but the water temperature of the boiler is very high, which can reach 90 ℃ or even higher. The maximum outlet water temperature of the source heat pump is about 60°C. Therefore, the length of each road should not be too long. According to practical experience, it is recommended that the length of each road should not exceed 60 meters.
