Modified PVC plastics can be made into injection molding, extrusion and other products. Because the application of the product is different, the requirements for the hardness of the product are also different. Modified PVC plastics are divided into two types: hard and soft. Generally, hard modified PVC plastics are expressed in Shore D and Rockwell units, and soft modified PVC plastics are expressed in Shore A and Paasche (P) units. Hard modified PVC plastic itself is hard. Generally, increasing the hardness does not necessarily refer to the hardness of the material itself, but to the rigidity. To improve the hardness of the material, in fact, it can be satisfied by increasing its rigidity. Engineers will add corresponding additives to enhance rigidity in the formula, and optimize other properties.
