The matters needing attention for the connection of PEX pipe card sleeve: 1. Cut the pipe perpendicular to the axis, and the allowable angular deviation of the pipe end face to the axis is 1/2 degree (it can be measured with a right angle ruler). The inner and outer surfaces of the pipe end are slightly deburred and cleaned. 2. Apply a little oil on the threaded part of the joint body, the contact surface between the card sleeve and the 24-degree cone, and the contact surface between the card sleeve and the compression nut. 3. Push the compression nut and the card sleeve onto the pipe, and press the pipe tightly in the pre-assembled joint body until the positioning edge is reached. Tighten the nut until the card sleeve catches the pipe, and the hand feels that the nut has been initially tightened. 4. On this basis, turn the wrench 1.25 turns to complete the pre-installation. 5. Check the insertion of the card sleeve into the steel pipe. It can be seen that there is a clearly raised sealing line, and the card sleeve can rotate a certain angle, but it cannot have axial displacement. 6. For the final installation, turn it 0.5 turns again, and the installation is completed.
