1. The fluid resistance is different: the fluid resistance of the ball valve is small, and its resistance coefficient is equal to that of the pipe section of the same length. The fluid resistance of the stop valve is large, and the force required for opening and closing is relatively large.
2. Different classifications: ball valves are divided into bypass valves, air valves, pressure relief valves, and drain valves. Stop valves are divided into straight-through stop valves, straight-through stop valves, angle stop valves and plunger stop valves
3. Different applications: Ball valves are especially suitable for media containing fibers and tiny solid particles. Stop valves can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal and radioactive media.
