The flange is connected at both ends of the valve body, which is equivalent to the flange of the pipeline. The flange is fixed with bolts to distinguish between convex, flat, convex and concave. What happens when the valve is connected to the flange? According to the shape of the joint surface, it can be divided into the following situations:

Smooth: used for valves with low pressure. It is more convenient to process.

Concave-convex type: high working pressure, medium hard washers can be used.

Mortise: It is a washer with large plastic deformation. It is more widely used in corrosive media and has a good sealing effect.

Trapezoidal groove: used as a gasket for valves with a working pressure of 64 kg/cm² or high temperature valves.

Lens: The washer is a metal lens shape. High pressure valve or high temperature valve with working pressure of 100 kg/cm².

O-ring: This is a new flange connection form, developed together with the appearance of various rubber O-rings, and the sealing effect is more stable than ordinary flat gaskets.
