PEX pipe, also known as cross-linked polyethylene pipe, can transport cold water, hot water and drinking water. There are bending and memory, not hot-melt connection. Avoiding light can slow down the aging of plastic products and prolong their life. It is often used in geothermal heating systems. For outdoor use, a light-proof protective cover is required, and an aluminum-plastic composite tube can also be used. In the north, the outdoor pipes need to be covered with thermal insulation layer to prevent the temperature difference from bursting.
