Tips for installing PEX pipe: First you need to determine the location of the PEX pipe - the project needs to be pre-planned, the hanger for the PEX pipe and its location are prepared. Check the location and measure the size. Cut the tube and install the hanger. A hanger should be placed every 50CM. If it is installed vertically, the pipe should be fixed every 30CM. PEX pipe then needs to be measured multiple times - although PEX pipe is a less expensive type of pipe, if you cut a piece of PEX pipe that is 2 meters long, 10CM or 20CM short, you will have problems: PEX pipe has certain ductility, which will eventually lead to larger errors. So you should leave a little bit of "slack" when installing the PEX pipe, and multiple measurements will make the dimensions more accurate and reduce waste. Cutting PEX Pipe - One of the most important tips on PEX pipe installation is cutting the pipe. Be as accurate and glitch-free as possible. If the cut is not even and smooth, the PEX fitting may not fit in place, causing water leakage; slide the crimp ring - an important tip: place the crimp ring approximately 2cm from the end of the PEX pipe. This will give you the advantage of further joining the pipe, it is easy to get a good connection; PEX fitting time - put the PEX fitting where it touches the pipe. Once in place, slide the crimp rings over the barbs of the PEX fitting and align the barbs; crimping the PEX fitting - open the jaws of the PEX crimp tool and align them so they cover the crimp rings. While holding the pipe steady, compress the jaws of the PEX crimping tool. Then seal the seal and check with a pressure gauge, which should be partially installed on the crimp ring; secure the PEX pipe - now that you have the connector installed on the PEX pipe, put it in its hanger, and connect it to the water supply system. Turn on the water and check for leaks.
